Principal of HR Savvy

Lesley Evans has extensive experience in the Human Resource Management and OHS gained through a career spanning 30 years. 25 of those years were spent in corporate life, with more than 10 years at HR Director level. She has worked in small, medium and large enterprises across a diverse range of industries such as pharmaceuticals, transport, manufacturing, fmcg and service industries.

In more recent years, Lesley has ventured out into her own business, implementing Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (OHSMS) into client workplaces and providing project based and out-sourced HR services and solutions to businesses.

Lesley’s strength is seeing problems in terms of their "cause" not just their manifestation, and finding ways to effectively resolve them. Such an approach has provided her the opportunity to create and implement a range of innovative HR & OHS initiatives – with the fundamental aim of business improvement, minimizing cost wherever possible and increasing employee productivity.
